If you ask me where I'm from, I get all confused and irritated. I finally thought of a location that will let you create assumptions that I'm comfortable with...............

Men are highly reactionary creatures. Unlike women, who act subtly and slowly to a growing symptom. Men act in extreme ways to small threats and extreme ways to extreme threats. Any threat to their current concept of masuclinity is like a threat to their mere existence.

So men just act extreme in any given situation eh?

By acting extreme, men are able to vent their anger and potentially mend any broken fences resulting from the lashing out. Women, on the other hand, let their feelings build and build until it reaches one final boiling point, what I also like to call "zero hour". All fences are dismantled, reduced to kindling, and ceremoniously burned in the town square.

Well maybe some men do it but i find it more interesting when i use subtlety to get what i want. what you wrote was true for me when i was a kid though from grade school to high school.

so i did some research on your posting. here's my conclusion. in general, women have a higher "trigger point" than men. this coming from a highly masculine lesbian that I'm friends with. she taught kindergarden for a while and said that the men she worked with would snap so easily. she also stated that sometimes she wishes her trigger point would click, but she's often not able to access it. I remember when I used to feel that way..........
